What Is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine is a way for patients to see doctors virtually instead of in an office. At the appointed time, both doctor and patient will log onto the necessary platform. It is similar to Skype or FaceTime calls. During the visit, the doctor asks a series of questions to get an understanding of any issues you are facing. Depending on these issues, he or she might ask you to feel certain parts of your body, like your sinuses, to breathe deeply, or other actions that can help form a diagnosis. It can be helpful to have the following on hand:- Thermometer
- Blood pressure and blood sugar machines, if either is a regular issue
- Flashlight (the doctor might need a better view of your throat)
- A list of questions you need to ask
